Activate Cool Zone

I love our house. I really do. There are a number of cosmetic things we need to do, and I cannot wait to paint the bathroom, to be honest. They did such a shitty job in there. grey paint on the white ceiling, white trim paint on the grey walls. Gross.

Another house thing that needs some help is our windows. Several windows do not have a screen on them (above the sink, in the dining room, at the top of our stairs in our bedroom, next to our bed). Some windows don't even open. One window in the living room opens but doesn't stay up, it tricks you into thinking things are cool and then crashes down and scares the piss out of you.

Today it was about 80 degrees out. This morning it was very cool, too cool to sit out at the patio and drink coffee, but by noon it was delightful. I opened all the windows that had screens on them. The house got very warm but we have a ceiling fan in the living room and that has done a very good job of keeping things in here comfy.

We had an argument about turning on the AC. I think it is cold enough at night that we do not need. He turned it on.

His cousin called and asked to come over. So that was another layer of weird. The AC didn't do a good job, so at bed time, we opened all the windows and went back to what I had set up. I worked on my slide deck and none of us talked about anything, but Doug tried his best to engage.

It was a weird scene.

Not sure if we need our AC looked at just yet. But. This is the time of year.

Oh! Send me some mojo. Tomorrow we have a presentation for this new product launch and yeah, your girl is in the hot seat of it all.

I forgot there was a moon launch and everything happening today because I am so focused on this slide deck.

Thinkin' bout you, Artemis II crew.
