Yesterday and today I had to get 2 good walks in to hit the 10k goal. I need to pre-load my day, either do a bunch of steps after midnight or before 8am/working. Or take a mid-day walk. Both nights we took the dog out, and did a good half hour each time. And when I looked at my step count, tonight I wasn't even at 6500 steps while I was eating dinner so I knew I had to go out.
I didn't take Toffee, she slows me down, and she pulls a lot on the leash and hurts my shoulder so I went solo. Did some little jogging here and there but my hip hurt so I just walked quickly.
Tomorrow, I'm going to the office which means I'll kill the step count with the Metro Walks. Booyah. I am going in because there is an event at the office that my friend Jeff wants to go to, and I couldn't say no to being his employee escort.
I have a client site launch immediately after and a meeting after that so the plan had been to leave work together and go have a beer but. I'll actually DO my work like a good human.
